European Accessibility Act · Directive (EU) 2019/882 · for businesses
Accessibility statement, Annex V information and Annex I evidence — from your site address
We test your pages (axe-core, a 30-press keyboard walk and supplementary checks) and turn the results into the information Article 13(2) and Annex V ask service providers to publish, in up to 24 EU languages, with the national law and authorities of the Member States you serve. What automated testing cannot judge is written down as a manual check.
Business customers only — an EU VAT number is required and checked in VIES.
Who the Act applies to
Since 28 June 2025 the accessibility requirements apply to these services provided to consumers (Article 2(2)):
- Electronic communications services
- Services providing access to audiovisual media services
- Elements of air, bus, rail and waterborne passenger transport services
- Consumer banking services
- E-books and dedicated software
- E-commerce services
Microenterprises providing services are exempt (Article 4(5)). A microenterprise employs fewer than 10 persons and has an annual turnover not exceeding €2 million or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €2 million (Article 3(23)). Check with your national authority before relying on the exemption.

Sample (PDF) — Before you publish
PDF and DOCX. Official Directive text in all 24 EU languages (not translated by us). National transposition data for all 27 Member States from official sources; entries we could not fully confirm are marked for you to check. The samples were generated in this language from our demo shop site, which has deliberately planted problems. Your documents use your own measurements and details.
We do not claim conformity from automated tests
The status is always "partially conformant" until a person has reviewed the requirements that automated testing cannot assess. The link from automated checks to Annex I is our interpretation. As of 2026-10-16, no harmonised standard for Directive (EU) 2019/882 had been published in the Official Journal, so meeting EN 301 549 or WCAG does not give a presumption of conformity. We are not a certification body.
